Composite: The background of this photo is an infrared image I took with my Canon Rebel XT using a Canon EFS 17-85 lens. The pose is based on a publicity photo of Lon Chaney for a now lost movie "London After Midnight." The face is mine manipulated in Photoshop. It made a journey through many filters to appear as it is now. I entered a square format version of this in a Halloween contest by BenQ.

We love visiting Convict Lake in the fall, and this year we got lucky with just enough fog to give it a bit of character in our early morning hike.
These pictures are from our annual 2020 fall trip to the Sierras and to Yosemite National Park, the full album is here.
