I love this time of year and Autumn 2021 has been late down here in the South but the colours have been fantastic this year and well worth the wait. I will be sad when the colour disappears in the next week or so.
Took this image today and luckily for me the woody landed just where I wanted her to.
I can only guess (feel free to correct me) that this is the remaining foliage of a young copper beech from last Autumn? - I find this hard to 'Google' and it seems bizarre!

There is now a lot of talk about "forever chemicals". I do not know whether the fabric of these plastic tulips contain any such per- or poly-fluoroalkyl compounds. They can be found in all sorts of plastic containers and fabrics and are very dangerous to humans as they accumulate incrementally. Forever chemicals do what the name says - they do not naturally break down, different from us. Zeiss Pancolar at F8.
