The sky started to colour at 5 p.m. and I knew I had to make haste for some sunset photos....

Such a glorious sky. I loved the diappearing footprints in the sand, for they increased the depth of field.

"You can't make footprints in the sand of time if you're sitting on your butt, and who wants to make buttprints in the sand of time?"

Quote - Bob Moawad

At low tide it is possible to walk on the bottom of the Wadden Sea. During summertime there are several guided walking tours, so you can walk from the mainland to one of the Wadden Islands ;-)

Happy Sliders Sunday!

Early Sunday morning in Styria with the mountain "Grimming" in front of me

Location : Jarada cay - Arabian Gulf. This is one of my favourite places in my country to enjoy real fresh air, crystal water and pure sand 💕

Little Glen Lake, taken from the top of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, with circular polarizing filter.

Over one million people visit the dunes each year, leaving behind their footprints in the sand, footprints that are obliterated by the gentlest of breezes.

Through the pristine snow led these animal tracks. That morning, unfortunately, I missed the perfect sky. At the time it was almost clear. In retrospect I found it more interesting to change the sky, here I didn't want to overdo it. To keep the foreground and the mountains sharp, focus stacking was used.

Footprints / huellas

I took this in New York last fall.

A cold stormy night. A visible set of footprints showing the way to the ferry terminal. The ferryman is waiting.

Footprints or water pools seen at Ynys, Gwynedd, North Wales.

Overlooked by the Moelwyn Mountains that stand just in front of Snowdon, and the Rhinogs to the south east, the small Island of Ynys Gifftan is a distinctive and unique feature of the Dwyryd Estuary.

Look across the estuary at high tide, although it seems unexplorable to visit without a boat, but roll your trousers up and you can walk!!! In the Summer the waters are absorbed by the heat of the sun.

However, it can be dangerous under Tidal conditions, so be careful.
