I haven't had the opportunity to get out and make pictures over the past Winter as much as I would have liked. But I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, so here are a few pics from last Summer of flow artists playing with fire in a local park.
I'm currently working on a collab with a few of the performers pictured in my street work lately. I should have that portfolio complete in the coming week and will probably publish it as a sequenced body of work after I finish with my final images from the summer nights at the Buffalo Flow. In the meantime here's a contextual image for my personal project. It's not a traditional composition, but i like the narrative and it puts the isolated images in this project into a broader setting.
Spacebearbeebop, shown here, will feature prominently in the collaborative project. His skill is something to behold and he's a solid DJ to boot.

I haven't posted as much lately because I've been wrapped up in a project around the wedding of a couple good friends, but I wanted a little diversion. Buffalo Flow Project 670 - Pan's Dance
As we get closer to the year-end holidays, I've come to realize that this project sang to me at this time precisely because #SpaceBearBeebop's participation felt Pan-like. How would that matter? I associate Pan with Midsommar festivities and the pagan's opposite holidays were the foundation for why we celebrate Christmas near the Winter solstice. It may not be Krampusnacht right now, but this project still feels appropos.
