Ook de nieuwe door Bombardier geleverde Flexity-trams brengen kleur in het ietwat troosteloze stadsgezicht. In het jaar 2023 kwam de levering van de nieuwe trams eindelijk behoorlijk op gang. Wanneer de serie van 49 rijtuigen compleet is, zullen alle oude tienassers door de nieuwe lagevloertrams vervangen kunnen worden.
