Das Flatiron Gebäude gehört zu meinen liebsten Häusern. Die einzigartige Fassade und Bauweise sind schon etwas ganz Besonderes für mich. Wenn ich auch nicht erklären kann warum.

The Flatiron Building is one of my favorite houses. The unique façade and design are something very special for me. Though I can not explain why.

The Flatiron Building, originally Fuller Building, was one of the first skyscrapers built in New York, United States, and is named for the shape of a flat iron. It opened in 1902, and is located between Fifth Avenue, Broadway and 23rd Street.

Our famous Boulder Flatirons shot while visiting Chautauqua Park. We were lucky there was a lull in our wind and the temps were very mild. These rocks were named after the old flat iron, irons that lady's (or men) would use to do their

laundry with.

I'm not for sure what the purpose of the fence was but I think it's there to remind people to stay on the trails.
