The Gelug and I working together have run up against proper visualization procedure. As each visualization faded or seemed to fail for me, barricaded by the ones who came before me who had dedicated their lives to it, I came to realize I was born in SL. I have no trouble switching the scene variety, but I have trouble being away. I have to come back, big red hair and tight black leather pants flame sensations, et al. I might not be a thangka, but I am certainly happier to see Sophia than some dead 16-year old or some thousand-year old grimy old man. So it is still the work... flame divine.

In the Christmas season, when I was young, my brother and I used to have a wonderful time squirting orange peels into the flames of a candle. Squirt! and the flame would do all sorts of interesting things.

This set is an attempt to capture that experience photographically. It wasn't easy, because the flame effect is very quick.

First attmepts at fire - Tried to get the point of impact and this was the best out of 40 or so. Taken at 1/8000 and an 800 ISO

These are👣waiting to roast some marshmallows on them. The feet will be tied together at the ankles and big toes so they will make a round area for the fire. The leather soles have been tested with matches under them, and they are burned but feel fine.

Due to a slight camera bump, check out the neat stero effect.

Thouht I would try shooting a flame in a dark room to me the results are pretty good

This was taken in a cave of Ratangad. We were about to leave from there. These two candles gave us light full night long.

Handheld at 105mm, f/5.6, 1/25th of a second. This lens is amazing and the VR is super-tight. I was just sitting at the dinner table after the Christmas feast.
