Fredvang is located on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago. The village is fairly isolated with the Fredvang Bridges being the only road connection to the village from the rest of Norway.

Badly flaking paint on an external wall. So much paint has flaked off that the remaining flakes look like brown butterflies about to lift off from the surface.

We had a heavy frost in early December -- many of the leaves were still hanging around which made for some nice subjects. I probably spent too much time on too many leaves instead of focusing on the really cool ones, but this was one of my favorites...it was a beautiful morning.
