j'étais partie avec un grand flacon d'eau (sucrée)et 3 seringues(une petite sans aiguille) une autre avec l'aiguille "gros" trou et une 3° avec l'aiguille extra fine.

j'ai déposé des gouttes partout, vraiment partout,la plupart du temps elles tombaient ,il y avait du vent en plus et...certaines ont tenu bon

Conclusion, j'ai encore quelques photos surprenantes pour les jours qui viennent

Detail of a perfume"flacon" by Thierry Mugler called "Angel Eau Sucrée". The bottle comes in the shape of a star and has a sprinkled sugar texture.

Technische Bemerkung: Dies ist einer meiner ersten Versuche, bei einem Stillleben eine Shift-Optik zur Vermeidung stürzender Linien einzusetzen. Bislang habe ich (seit ich mir des Problems wirklich bewusst bin) generell bei meinen Stillleben versucht, relativ hohe Objekte mit parallelen Kanten zu vermeiden oder höchstens ein solches Objekt genau in der Symmetrieachse zu platzieren. Durch das Shiften war es möglich, die Kamera genügend hoch zu platzieren, damit etwas vom Inhalt von Becher und Krug zu sehen ist, ohne dass die Flasche rechts im Vordergrund zur Seite wegkippt. Die Aufnahme entstand mit einem alten OM Zuiko 2/35mm und einem Tilt&Shift-Adapter von Kipon.

Technical note: his is one of my first attempts at using shift optics to avoid plunging lines in a still life. So far (since I have really become aware of the problem) I have generally tried in my still lifes to avoid relatively tall objects with parallel edges or at most to place any such object exactly in the axis of symmetry. Shifting made it possible to place the camera high enough to see some of the contents of the cup and jug without the bottle in the right foreground tilting off to the side. The picture was taken with an old OM Zuiko 2/35mm and a Tilt&Shift adapter made by Kipon.

No AI, no CGI, just good old-fashioned Photoshop

This is a true slider, a composite made of my other option for Macro Mondays' "Pastel" theme: a photo of a small round glass flacon (which also would make a pretty vase for a tiny bouquet), mostly clear, and decorated with a beautiful pink and rose banding (stratification? I'm not sure which is the correct word) with dark accents. Those dark, almost black lines in the banding were the main reason why I did not consider using the flacon image for "Pastel" (plus I thought the photo of the toothbrush, my previous upload, looked nicer and also more pastel). But I still liked the image, and the way I had photographed it (as close as possible and with the main focus on a tiny, roundish inclusion in the glass, the "eye"), it reminded me a lot of a pastel planet.

So why not actually turn it into a "real" Pastel Planet and create a space scene for Sliders Sunday? Since I had photographed the flacon against the same white backdrop as the toothbrush, the first step was to black out the background, or rather the bit of negative space on the left corner of the original photo's frame. I started with a dark vignette in Analog Efex, but that didn't look very realistic. Neither did the field of stars which I tried to create with the "Add noise" filter. There is a technique to create a realistic-looking starry space with the Noise filter, but it didn't quite work out for me, the main reason probably being the buggy Photoshop performance due to my now too-old graphics card. In fact, just the other day, after Creative Cloud had automatically updated PS to the latest 2023 version, I was greeted with the message "Your graphics processor is not compatible" (Dang! This means I'll need a new graphics card (etc.) ASAP!), so I had to go back to the previous PS version because that at least kind of still works. But luckily, I found a very easy way to create a field of stars with a custom brush. You can find a link to that tutorial at the end of the description.

In the end, I also decided to use only a section of the flacon to create a whole, perfectly round planet floating in space. The easiest way to make a round shape look like a 3D sphere is to use the "Spherize" filter (at 100%). After adding the moon (for which I used a sunset cloud photo I'd once taken from the balcony), I also added a Lighting effect from the left (please make sure your image mode is set to 8-bit). I also used the burn brush at a large size (midtones at 45% and 25% opacity) to add more of a 3D look to the spheres by painting the planet's and the moon's respective right edges a little darker. The (free) cloud photo I've used to create the nebula is courtesy of "Lemuria" on pixabay. Auf unserem Fensterbrett steht eine Gießkanne aus Metall, daneben ein blauer Glasflakon, ein Blick aus dem Fenster, ich hatte meine Reflexion. Das Leben kann manchmal so einfach sein. Nun brauchte ich noch die Zutat für die Höhe um den richtigen Ausschnitt fotografieren zu können... der Blick ins Bücherregal fiel auf ein dickes Kochbuch "1080 Rezepte". Der bunte Einband spiegelt sich in der Gießkanne wieder, eine ganz andere Art des Kochens. Viel Spass und eine gute Woche liebe Freunde, bleibt mir gewogen!

On our windowsill there is a metal watering can, next to it a blue glass bottle, a view from the window, I had my reflection. Sometimes life can be so simple. Now I needed the ingredient for the height to be able to photograph the right section... the view into the bookshelf fell on a thick cookbook "1080 recipes". The colourful cover is reflected in the watering can, a completely different way of cooking. Have fun and a good week dear friends, remains me weighed!

Sur le rebord de notre fenêtre, il y a un arrosoir en métal, à côté d'une bouteille en verre bleu, une vue de la fenêtre, j'avais mon reflet. Parfois, la vie est si simple. Maintenant j'avais besoin de l'ingrédient pour la hauteur pour pouvoir photographier la bonne section... la vue dans l'étagère est tombée sur un épais livre de cuisine "1080 recettes". Le couvercle coloré se reflète dans l'arrosoir, une façon complètement différente de cuisiner. Amusez-vous bien et une bonne semaine chers amis, reste moi pesé !
