Here is something extra for you and me. This swimsuit was in my changing room and nobody had just left it recently. It had been abandoned.
It turned out to be just my size, so I was obviously meant to try it on. Just a little unexpected bonus!
This gorgeous bardot-neck bodycon dress by Quiz called out to me. It looked familiar and I quizzed myself how that could be.
Reviewing photos from Sparkle, I realised my new friend Erin was wearing it on the Saturday night. Erin, you looked fantastic! It's no wonder I wanted this dress after seeing you.
I wore this dress at Sparkle on Saturday, when rain showers made it a grey day. The conditions were poor for photos (but good for sheltering in a bar with friends) and I discovered later that I had not one single picture of my daytime outfit! This is my chance to put things right and show you the missing picture.
It's also worth noting that kitten heels and peep toes are not ideally suited to a somewhat muddy Sackville Park!
Tempting though it was, I didn't buy this. I already have more swimsuits than I can use and there's no more space in my wardrobe!
A swimsuit like this will look great with a loose white skirt and sandals for the walk down to the beach. Spread out a towel, slip off the skirt and get to work on the tan. Actually that's the only reason I don't do this! I tan too quickly and too obviously.
You can find this item in Debenhams, or on line at www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10...
Loved this dress with its sweetheart neckline, high waist and net underskirt for fullness. Perfect for a very special summer occasion!
Bardot necklines are in all the stores this summer. They never seemed to suit me until I got this longer hairstyle, but now I love them. Bare shoulders look so feminine and I adore the sensuousness of my long hair on bare skin!
Shoulders are supposed to be "in" this summer, which means dresses should not cover them but let them be "out". I'm confused. Which is it, in or out? Can we have a poll, please?
Let me show you how the last three dresses move. A fit and flare dress is missing something essential in a still photo.
Loving this new hairstyle from all angles! If I'd had pictures from Sackville Park, I could have seen how it looks from behind. This is the missing, turned around photo.
I said earlier that I was not sure how to wear this hairstyle in public. It turned out to be easy - turn handle, open door, step out!
I'm hoping for some nice weather this weekend as I am out and about. It doesn't need to be sunny enough for a dress like this, but if the rain would just stop then I'd get more photos for you.
Taking it easy after selecting dresses. Dresses are really the easiest items to wear, fitting me into one smooth shape. I do feel completely at ease here.
A side slit makes walking in a maxi dress so much easier. I only tried this on for fun, since I didn't like the colour. As I was leaving the shop I saw the same dress in red, which is far better. Unfortunately they were nowhere near my size; they were all tents!

This is not what I was looking for. I had one other thing in mind to buy, but as I was going into the changing rooms anyway it seemed a waste to take only one. Bardot necks and open shoulders have a certain attraction for me this summer, however this colour is all wrong. I mean, khaki! That's the colour you wear when you want to hide, isn't it? Why not be seen, stand out, be proud?
This particular cubicle was not a random choice. I've been here before and I know that it has the biggest and best mirror right opposite, so I can stand in my cubicle like this and take a medium range picture. Photos taken entirely within a cubicle tend to be at an awkward angle or not show a full length view. So I draw back the curtain, line up my camera and without leaving the cubicle pose sweetly. Just at that moment another customer steps right in front of me and starts checking her possible purchase! Because I haven't left my changing space, she is totally oblivious to the fact that I am using the mirror. Well, I did say it is the biggest and best in the shop.
Now, doing a photoshoot in the women's changing rooms is not normal so I have to be very discrete. I suppose one quick selfie on the phone might be okay, but a taking series of shots with a proper camera could get me into trouble. There is no option but to slip the camera round the door edge and swish the curtain quickly closed. After a pause, when it is quiet outside, I reopen the curtain and line up once more. Just as I am ready, she does it again! This time she notices what she has done and turns to apologise as I put the camera out of sight. We have a little laugh and I tell her the top looks great on her. For me, it is third time lucky, as you can see here.
Day #9 reject taken 6/30/09 completely different than the parking lot photo I chose, but I had taken this earlier in the day, just in case I didn't have time to come up with something better. Just posting this one for fun!

This is a lovely long cool dress which exposes my back to the sun. I just need to choose the right bra for it, or maybe wear a swimsuit underneath, to ask for help spreading sunscreen and, last but not least, to find the sunshine from a week ago. Oh, where did it go?
I was walking through JC Penny on my way to look for a sports bra and passed by the junior's department. Some of the dresses caught my eye so I stopped and looked, Who knew that they carried so many really cute dresses! This little blue one was very nice and reasonably priced so I got it! I have to make another trip back when I really have some time to look around!

I'm very happy how my make up looks today. Best of all, I've finally found a set of eyelashes that enhance my eyes without looking too heavy. These look quite real and I wore them all day. In fact, most of the time I forgot they were there!
Having a great time trying on new clothes... especially new little dresses like this one at Armani Express
