Just look at the sheer terror in those eyes. There’s only one thing that can bring on such existential dread in the modern human - a dwindling phone signal in a remote area in an emergency. Although quite what constitutes an emergency can vary considerably.
In this case Karen has been separated from the rest of her hen party. She’s had a couple of drinks and got a little lost on the way back from the loo. Now she’s standing on the seafront. It’s 3am. She’s got one bar of signal and 4% battery. She’s surrounded by seagulls. Karen has a severe case of ornithophobia. The fear is real. Things are about to get interesting…
