Taken at her home. Somewhere around Gloucestershire or South Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom. Date unknown, possibly around c2012.

About the photograph.

Tiffany is a British model, whom did a lot of modelling for various top-shelf adult softcore magazines in the United Kingdom. Some of the titles includes Escort, Razzle, and Fiesta, to name a few.

I booked her for a two hours photo-shoot at her partner’s home somewhere near Bristol or Gloucester, in England, around c2012.

I had done a few photo-shoots of women before, but they weren’t models, as they were mostly female friends or people I know, posing for me as a favour. Tiffany is the first serious model I had booked.

At the beginning of the two hours session, I started doing photos with my Nikon D1, but sadly, my camera started to develop a technical problem, even though I checked the equipment beforehand. The photo-shoot was in danger of being cancelled, but thankfully her partner let me borrow his Nikon DSLR to continue the session.

It was a Nikon, but I don’t remember which model. Could have been one of the mid-range series like the D100, D200, or D300 models. As it was a Nikon brand, it was easy for me to make the translation from my camera to their camera in a short time, as most of the controls are familiar.

She is wearing a white faux fur jacket manufactured by Astrake, and wearing her own white basque, with stockings, gloves, and high heels. Those were the first set of outfits she worn during the photo-shoot. Here, she is posing on the bed, in their bedroom.

After the photo-shoot, they transferred all the photos from the memory card to a CD-R, and posted it to me. There was a problem with the file format, and I informed them of incompatibility problems, so they had to save the files in standard JPEG format, which is why the files are missing the EXIF information.

As stated earlier, Tiffany is my first proper booked model, someone with serious modelling experience, so it was my first serious experience in working with a model. Despite my being deaf with speech impaired, we did get on well, and the experience helped me to figure out how to communicate with models for future photo-shoots.

The high resolution reduces the degrre of abstraction compared with the former Lenny captures. I guess I will go back to the low resolution.

For We're Here - First Times

You can’t soak your black-eyed peas in last year’s water!! It has to be water from the new year! We have 30 or 40 people coming this afternoon for Hoppin’ John and cornbread, and I’m up early, starting the process. I love this tradition – it’s maybe the 11th or 12th year we’ve done it. Happy New Year, all!! I hope that 2015 will be full of fun, good health, and lots of photo opps for all my Flickr friends!

In the last days i did my very first wedding shooting for a young couple. At first i was a bit nervous but with time passing by the passion for photography washed away all doubts. We tried many different styles and had a wonderful time doing this shooting. Shown here is some fun on the swing – hope you like it. ;o)

This night was my first experience with concert-photography. I liked it a lot.

Primera vez que toco ps para hacer algo más de postprocesado. Ya iré mejorando.

Spent today wandering around photographing London like it was the first time I'd been here. Was kind of an interesting experience.

This is my first attempt, I´ll try to perfect it from now on...

Familiarising with the steering, gear lever and pedals is the very first step when you first start driving! Just a year later, I managed to earn my Provisional License and as a fun bonus, I even changed a tire on the instructor's car!

First time ever and a little freaked out but with the help of motorcycle man and his really great eye/composition, I love how it turned out. Only next time I will not be so stiff, this looks more like planking. I said "Rich what do you think? Should I do my first face down, right here on the pier?" His response, "well it will not be the weirdest thing these people will have seen here" That did it, handed him the camera and headed out. You can't see it but off to the side a street performer was strumming away and singing "I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo" radiohead and it just felt so right. ;)

Today is my youngest son- Shane's birthday! He & his wife Kayla just announced that they are making us grandparents!! With any luck, the baby will be here before Christmas! WOW! We can hardly believe it! HOW exciting for us all! And it's a girl! (or so the ultrasound "said!") :) WOW!

LARGE

In the 6 years I've been living here, this is the first time I've ever seen anyone fishing in the small pond. This very elderly gentleman seemed to know what he was doing and was steady, so I just left him alone. The only fish in there are large Koy fish. I saw him leave. He didn't appear to have any fish. More power to him.

Met her firsttime in nighttime, where she was ecstatic dancing on gothic/new-wave music

After she saw her nighttime pictures, we met @ vooruit café, ghent to talk about a future shoot with me.

We met for our shoot in the icecold citycenter of Ghent.

This picture shows all her spontaneous beauty in daytime.. I love her sensual neck and sweet face expression. She is really an amazing kind woman

You know that old saying that you cannot rush art; well same applies to action shots. When doing water drop shots you better get everything in order before you start. I read some how to's and watch plenty of videos; thinking okay I have the idea.. let's go. The first time I guess is always trial and error. First do NOT use a pie pan like I did; not only is it too small, I didn't have the drop centered and water to the brim, Instead go for a glass dish.Second, use a macro or long lense. I used my standard 3.5-50mm but it did not get close enough ( I knew better). I did get some okay shots but they are flat and not detailed or zoomable. I do like the ripples however again, not detailed enough. I am going to try this again tomorrow (bangs head).

*screeches*

I am HELLA proud to present my first try at a 'dispersion' type photo in PS..and boy oh boy..IT CAME OUT SO GOOD.

Armor-Head Dragon CP by me.

Created with Inkscape and thanks to J. Ku's tutorial.

(I expected a series and I was disappointed)

But then, I decided to learn Inkscape for myself and created my very first crease pattern!! This was partially inspired by Riccardo Foschi's way of creating crease patterns and uploading it (because I ain't got no time for drawing freehandedly).

This is so far one of my biggest achievements in 2017 and I stand by it in every way.

I could make diagrams soon, if i'm not busy.

Feel free to fold it!
