PGT Challenge #124 - Portraits
This is my first attempt. I tried using the macro lens, but the depth of field was too shallow. Back to the drawing board.
Right from the start, you stole my heart. Then tiny and frail, but always brave, a year full of love to us you gave. Happy Birthday darling.

I miss you Liebling
Life is weird. I spent alot of last year in a depression. I did get pregnant again after we lost Liebling in September of 2006, Only to lose the baby around the Due Date of Liebling. That was a serious blow - Why me? I know I'm definitely NOT the only person to go through this, so no comments about that. I know several people who have had a worst time than I.
I wasn't even married yet when we got pg the first time, and we weren't even married 6 months before I got pg again. The only thing that makes me feel better an TINY bit, was that maybe we/I aren't ready yet. We didn't get pg all year, and at this moment, aren't. I was deathly afraid of getting pregnant, and losing another child in April. I really didn't think I could take it.
and then, suddenly, my business is booming. ..and what kind of photos do people want me to take? 1st Birthday Photos, and every single child I've photographed (and will photograph next week) was born within 2 weeks of Liebling's due date. I loved playing with these babies, but really, where is mine?
I had to post this now, because I don't know how I will be doing on the 15th.
I hope I'll be okay.
I made two mosaics, one concentrating more on when he was a kitten, the second more as he grew. mainly because I couldn't decide on the final set of pictures.
The pic in the centre was taken a couple of days ago, as knowing Hann, I cannot predict if he will let me take a photo of him actually on his birthday :-/ Daddy is bringing his present home from the UK, a posh brass-studded leather collar and a new bed (sorry, royal bedchamber).
Charlie's birthday ~ Thanks to all who prayed for him this year. His heart is fixed and he is healthy!
This cake was for a beautiful customer! They celebrated Kohbi's first birthday at Alma Park Zoo & a jungle cake was very fitting.
Chocolate mudcake Giant-jungle-tree-cupcake with 24 vanilla cupcakes decorated with buttercream and little animals.
Kohbi's mum supplied all the decorations and she did a great job - they were so cute!
