This photo was taken in the Technik Museum Speyer in Germany . Olympus OMD EM 10 was used with an Olympus M. 9-18 wide-angle lens .
As Steven Boggan and I were heading back from Nesbit MS. we ran across this awesome firetruck...Got it while the sun was setting, hope you all enjoy!!
Depending on when they were delivered there are small differences between the Seagrave trucks operated by the FDNY. Many of the older ones have red rims -a look that I find appealing.

those girls from the Tilted Kilt sports pub were dressed to the kilt..looks like I was on the wrong side of the street :(
The boy playing with this truck made a great effort to reach the "Road" with his hand. He couldn't see the truck or me taking the photo.

I had been driving by this place for many years on and off, always seeing these neat old vehicles in the yard. It never hurts to just knock on the door and ask. To me? These are the loveliest of things. They are the past. They helped to bring the future. Real metal on these machines. Still looking good after all these years.
The NS 911 leads NS 221 south along Buford Highway in Doraville, GA on its last lap into Atlanta. I despise the SD60Es but with this catch Ive still managed to shoot all 3 commemorative units. This one is by far my favorite paint wise.
