I have been wanting to do a shot with my husband's childhood firetruck and when I found this model church in the closet where our photo club meets, I borrowed it for a few photos.

This is one of 2 old firetrucks used by the volunteer firefighters from the mid-50's until 1975 when we were annexed into Palo Alto.

Another entry from the Cloud Museum in Bard, AZ, this is an early 1940s firetruck, probably 1942.

This old firetruck seems to have been discarded in the small town of Westfield just north of Houston, Texas, in front of what appears to be an abandoned motel.

Some child has left their firetruck behind at Hyams Beach, NSW. I'm sure it will be missed.

Loggers Playday Parade (2011-09-10)

I had been driving by this place for many years on and off, always seeing these neat old vehicles in the yard. It never hurts to just knock on the door and ask. To me? These are the loveliest of things. They are the past. They helped to bring the future. Real metal on these machines. Still looking good after all these years.

Day 125 of 365 - Pull Over

Caught this tonight on the way home. It is through the windshield of my car so not ideal quality but it came out ok I guess ;)

I replaced this with a slightly reprocessed version that upped the contrast. I think I like it a lot better. It is much nicer on black and large.

Excellent diecast of New Hampton's B series Mack. This custom made piece was done by Joe Schulte of www.diecastanddecals.com. Highly recommended for custom made decals as this piece came out great.
