Ahh the old style fire escape. You just have to love that. I remember once upon dime (yes I meant to say that) I was playing out west in Moose Jaw I think. I spent some time on the fire escape watching the world go by.

Lisbon Hotel

This rather unglamorous apartment block sits on the edge of the grounds occupied by the St Pancras Old Church which sits approximately midway between Camden and St Pancras Station. I think the actual address will be on Pancras Road and in fact if you view the front façade of this block from the road it looks quite stately indeed. Its a pity the rear side looks so unkempt.

 

I'm always attracted to stairs and stairwells and I wish I could have got a shot of this stood directly in line with the middle of those stairs but there was a couple of huge trees in the way so I had to take it on the angle you see here.
