The former G.D.P. - Golden Dragon Parade route was on Northbound Broadway (ended here until 2000) from Cesar E. Chavez Avenue to Bernard Street and Southbound Hill Street at Ord Street took place here until 2006 then the new current G.D.P. route travelled Southbound Broadway and made a left turn at East Cesar E. This route is used for Los Angeles Chinatown Firecracker 10k Run with a split of 5k route left turn on Bishops Road to Cathedral High School, Dodger Stadium and return to Chinatown, 10k run route continues going straight all the way to Elysian Park uphill east entrance (Park Drive). Uphill to Northeast Los Angeles Little League Baseball Field in Elysian Park and down the hill to Dodger Stadium combining with 5k run, returning to Chinatown with the same route.

Chinatown Firecracker Bicycle Ride Event Registration Information Booth Site takes place right here yearly during the Lunar New Year Period when it's scheduled. This has a tow-away no-stopping this weekend notice sign posted on trees on the right hand side.

 

This is the beginning of the 12th Annual Firecracker Bike Ride Route followed by 42nd Annual Firecracker 10k Route begins right here with the annual L.A.C.F.R.C. event (since 1978) takes place on final last Sunday on February each and every year.
