Fire salamanders live mainly in the forests of Central Europe.
As adults, fire salamanders are largely independent of surface waters and lead a hidden existence in niches of caves, under dead wood and tree stumps, between rocks and log piles, and in the gap system of the ground. For females, proximity to spawning waters plays an important role in habitat selection, along with the presence of daytime hiding places.
Structure Fire this was practice burn by local firemen, they managed to destroy the whole building safely, shot in North Carolina.

Zarb, the famous dish from the underground barbecue
Wadi Rum,
The Bedouin kitchen has many classics such as Galayet Bandora, Kabsa, Maglouba and Saniyat. These dishes are still eaten daily. In addition, there are dishes such as Mansaf and Zarb. These are made on special occasions.
Zarb is a combination of meat, vegetables, potatoes and sometimes rice that is made in an underground barbecue.
The ingredients are prepared first. Then a large fire is made in the hole in the ground. When the flames have died down, the rack with the food is placed in the hole. Then the hole is covered with a lid, cloth and a large pile of sand. After 1.5 to 2.5 hours (depending on the type of meat) the food is ready. Another huge fire last evening at 10* out in town. Like 5 businesses gone and Olesons Food store where we all shop is smoke filled. They got called out at 8pm and my husband came home at 3 am froze. Just so sad.
