Staremo a vedere ;)

Today was filled with classes and reminders of upcoming deadlines. Kinda feels like that's all life is made up of; deadlines. In the next six weeks I'm gonna work on doing just this: finding myself. I know it's corny, but it feels appropriate is all.
When I was editing this I kept having to refocus my eyes because my hands kept beginning to look strange.
“You’re off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So…get on your way!”
– Dr. Seuss
Ladakh – the lands where heaven seems to meet the earth. The land where the lakes appear to be dyed in blue and the mountains coated with a dash of red. Ancient monasteries stand on rocky outcrops, their echoes reverberating in the thin air.

When I was running yesterday, this KT Tunstall song came on my iPod. I'd never heard it before, but I thought it was good and that it would make a good picture. At least the picture I got of it in my mind was good!
(For 365 Days. This is Day 235 and day 43 of my official get-strong plan.)
P.S. I ran 4 miles this morning. But I have eaten three slices of pizza.

"Find yourself another place to fall
Find yourself up against another brick wall
See yourself as a fallen angel
Well I don't see no holes in the road but you
Find another place to fall"
—KT Tunstall, "Another Place to Fall"
In such a speedy world, stop for a moment to relax and find yourself hidden in the reflections of the lake, always remembering that big fish eats small fish.
She, too, does photography. And she's pretty dang awesome at it! I've only come to know Katy recently, and this was the first proper day we hung out. Already it feels like I've known her for years, and I hope it stays that way :)
We went out in the snow before going home and chilling with a hot chocolate. I filmed her and Charlotte doing a cover of 'Yellow' by Coldplay. You can watch it here.
Brief little update: The wonderful Meg Reilly has just posted an image inspired by this photo. Take a look and let her know what a lovely photo it is :)
Aloha Peeps!!
Here’s something to ponder over for some #MondayMotivation
A famous poet, Mr. Li Bai once wrote,
“You ask me why I dwell in the green mountain;
I smile and make no reply for my heart is free of care.
As the peach-blossom flows down stream and is gone into the unknown,
I have a world apart that is not among men.”
That’s exactly how I feel when amongst nature and such majestic mountains. I haven’t come across anyone who feels differently about nature and its magical magnetism. If you feel the same or differently, share your thoughts with me as I would love to know more about other people’s perspective on the beauty of nature.

So I found myself on the mountain again. We shouldn't chase our shadows as it represents the past and we're never going that way, yet I still found myself chasing the shadow somehow poetic. Then i thought of how this photo can represent how only a shadow can get big compared to the mountains , whereas we remain little to those giants.
Even though I've been in Austria for longer than a year, this is finally the one giant leap for me and small for the humanity. I did it, crawled my way up the glacier to the top. Although noway near the Weisssespitze 3,526 m and Weisskugel 3,739 m it feels as a beginning of something new ! I'll see you with a next one soon, probably with a rad picture while riding ;) . Shadow on the wall.
