This Tufted Titmouse found an acorn but was unable to crack the nut open. It was funny that it would bother with a nut that was half the size of it's head, quite the challenge for this fellow.

I took this pic SEVERAL months ago and forgot about it. I'm not the greatest at landscapes but I am happy with how this turned out.
I find myself drawn more and more to simple images with minimal content.
Sometime you just need to declutter and get back to basics.
I get a nice feeling of serenity when I spend time with this image and I hope it does something good for you too.

Where it all started, or where you can find out how it started.
There are stories that should not be forgotten... Well, perhaps we should never forget. From memories, from the past and from our history we learn. Today I begin to record the result of my investigations. A task that has taken me a year, a long year of wandering between the shelves of the Carnelian Archive, where all the Fairlands chronicles are kept. The dust, the smell of leather, paper and history have been my faithful companions in this search, which is now over. It was something personal, yes. It has already been lost in time and in the silence of my relatives over the years, but I needed to know the truth. And the truth, like a polished diamond with countless faces, is not as simple as they imagined. There is no good or bad, but a mixture of the two whose balance maintains the Universe. Anyway, this is not the time to ramble. I think I should pick up the scattered fragments, hinted at in these flickr posts, and tell the whole story, though maybe not the whole truth, who knows....

I am always fascinated by the lines and structures in the snow. Took this image yesterday during our hike to Koglalm. Praxmar 2018
You will find around here at the Air Force Museum at Cosford, to say the least, with all those great massive war aircraft's on display around here!
And in which I did not realise just our big these huge aircraft's are, in which I soon found out when I got up really close up to them on the ground.
I managed to frame this capture with my full frame 24-120mm lens, from a high up platform that you can go up on and look down on then, in which gives you some vantage point!
So, on my next visit to this Air Force Museum, I will make sure I take my 10-24 wide angle lens with me, to get more in the frame composure, in which I thought that my full 35mm frame 24-120mm lens would have done the job, but how wrong I was here!
Does anyone know here? - What and how bigger wide angle Lens here that needs to have and would do the job better? - For when you are relly close-up to these giants of aircraft's and try to manage somehow to fit all in full frame, from so very close-up!
Or should I just frame and take them in two halves and stitch them together?
