Out on a walk last Sunday with my son Liam, and we spotted this figure sitting by the pond, looking from a distance like a young man with attitude, but what is he doing there? and why doesn't he move?

After I'd looked more closely through my lens and Liam shouted 'BOGIES' loudly and got no response, we satisfied ourselves that we were safe but both commented how creepy the experience was.

A little further on and we spotted another figure, this time with a fishing rod, and I commented (probably too loudly) that this one was even creepier and quite life-like.

The figure then moved and so did we, with haste :-))

A "freestyle" build which just kept evolving until I became satisfied with it. Believe or not, this started as a starship. Then the starship got a tentacle, then two...

then I remembered Eero Okkonen's characters and his trick for heads. I combined the two, fiddled with it randomly and there she is - the Countess of Dis.

A Lone Figure by davlinste

Taken in New Brighton. I was photographing the sunset when I noticed this lone figure wade through the water carrying a bucket and a spade. He walked quiet a bit out from the beach. More than likely collecting cockels.
