Anche gli ortaggi, spesso, presentano fiori di innegabile fascino e di oggettivo interesse ornamentale. Essi, a differenza delle piante ornamentali fine a se stesse, sono anche commestibili e dunque preziosi. Non a caso nella tradizione contadina veneta esisteva l'orto-giardino. Qui, accanto a verze, cavoli, radicchio e pomodoro, si coltivavano anche piante da fiore, che oltretutto attiravano i pronubi ..... ..

Un canyon spectaculaire et étroit où l’on avance sur une passerelle
fixée dans le rocher à 25 mètres au-dessus de la rivière...
Alcune piante arboree sono dotate di fiori assai poco vistosi. Fiori esteticamente insignificanti, anche se la loro forme esprime comunque una grande eleganza. Da questi stessi fiori, tuttavia, si sviluppano frutti di particolare interesse alimentare ed economico. E' il caso del Noce, un immigrato dal caucaso e dall'Asia occidentale, ormai divenuto indigeno ..... ..
Daucus carota è un’erba delle Apiacee, annua o bienne, spontanea in tutto il continente eurasiatico, alta fino 2 m, scabra, con foglie 2-3 pennatosette, fiori per lo più bianchi in ombrelle a molti raggi, frutto ovale a coste primarie setolose, le secondarie con aculei uncinati. In Italia è comune in incolti erbosi e argini fluviali. Si coltiva di preferenza su terreni argilloso-calcarei, freschi.

significa pianta selvatica, carota sempre dal greco”Karotón”
Descrizione: Pianta erbacea biennale, a volte perennante, con radice a fittone verticale ± ingrossato e lignificato, di colore giallo-biancastro; scapo fiorale rigido e irsuto, può essere semplice o ramificato fin dalla base, assumendo un portamento da slanciato a semi-cespuglioso, raggiunge in genere l’altezza di 1 m, potendo, a volte, superare anche 1,72 m.

Pushkar (Inde) - Pour ce portrait, je ne me suis pas laisser surprendre comme pour le précédent. Je me suis placé à un endroit où je pouvais avoir un arrière plan qui soit facilement lisible et qui le prendrait pas trop d’importance. Comme il y avait de nombreux paysans rajputs autour du lac ce matin là, je ne doutais pas que j’aurais l’occasion de faire quelques portraits.
C’est ce qui est arrivé avec ce vieil homme. Je ne lui ai rien demandé, mais lorsqu’il a vu que je le photographiais, il s’est arrêté et m’a regardé un peu étonné. Pour éviter toute contestation, je lui ai fait un petit signe de la main et lui ai montré la photo sur l’écran de contrôle de l’appareil. Il a eu un petit rictus que j’ai pris pour un sourire et a repris sa route.

Pushkar (India) - For this portrait, I did not let myself be surprised as for the previous one. I put myself in a place where I could have a background that was easily readable and that wouldn't take too much importance. As there were many Rajput peasants around the lake that morning, I had no doubt that I would have the opportunity to do some portraits.
This is what happened with this old man. I didn't ask him anything, but when he saw that I was photographing him, he stopped and looked at me a little surprised. To avoid any dispute, I gave him a small wave and showed him the photo on the device's control screen. He gave a little smirk that I mistook for a smile and resumed his journey.
This one has a bit of a weird story... I passed this funny bike on my way home from work. Stil don't know why it was there, standing sort of parked in the quay wall, cut in half ... Next day it was gone!
