I've been experimenting with helicon remote for focus stacking, since it's too cold and too dark to get a lot of outdoor photography done this time of year! This is a close-up of a stim toy I have that's made out of bike rings. I'm pretty happy with it, but I did spend a lot of time fiddling with it to fix some of the ghosting from the focus breathing.

This project was based on sustainability, the fabric sourced was donated second hand, I started by researching artists who used sustainable methods to create their work, drawing out spider diagrams, and taking inspiration from images. I researched the shape and structure of corsets, looked into restriction, practiced draping with the fabric and documented this through sketching and annotating. Experimented in the print room with melting plastic onto magazine pages, collecting together different pieces of waste such as plastic net bags, Designed different tops in A B and C categories, combined the designs together to create an ABC option, or a final option. Taken with my Olympus Superzoom 70G film camera, using Ilford HPS Plus 35mm and Kodak Gold 200 35mm film. These are unedited, raw original images, taken straight from the developer's. They showcase the garment at different angles, how it sways and hangs on the body. I asked the model to create movement, run across the dunes, start playing with the jacket, fidgeting with the sleeves, tying it up and then undoing it to portray this. I have compiled them onto an A2 board which I then photographed in natural lighting. I created a look-book of all the images used, and displayed it as a magazine.
