I belong to the Streetsboro Quilt Guild in Ohio, and one of our service projects is to make fidget quilts for people with Alzheimer's/dementia.
My world is filled with travel, quilting and volunteering.
My last adventure was (section) hiking the Buckeye Trail in Ohio - all 1,477 miles!

Taking pictures with flashlight is almost impossible, but I was keent to upload the picture of another finished object :)
It has been fun to work with this yarn, and the buttons work well with it. The yarn just about made it, but I should probably have worked it a couple of stitches narrower and one or two inches longer (it is just 20").I also tested it outside and I must say it is absolutely toasty warm!

this is fidget, and yes, he is enormous. he eats, sleeps, poops, and hisses. but, if you were to cry, or scream, or just sit there looking sad, somehow he knows and can figure out how to comfort you: purring, kissing, cuddling or just moving to sit with you, he listens too.. i <3 my Fidget ever since he was a little kitten unable to open its eyes.

Remember fidget spinners? Wow, they sure came and went out-of-fashion fast! I wonder how many millions of dollars were spent on something so completely useless? Dr. David, our Feng shui consultant when we built 'the big house' told us that if we want to make lots of money do something useless. Being an engineer this didn't make sense, I need to do something useful.
