Meet Herman and Daisy,
They want to make shoes for your feet.
But they owe so much money they barely can eat.
Don’t worry though, because magic is always just around the corner. The Elves are here to help! And sometimes the answers are right above your head.
Fidget Feet’s The Elves & The Shoemaker is immersive storytelling with music and aerial circus for children aged between 4-8yrs and their families.
There is no stage, you will join them inside their workshop and actually help them to make the best pair of shoes ever made. This show is supported by The Arts Council, The Backstage Theatre, Longford and The Source Arts Centre, Thurles.
Herman, Daisy and the Elves need you!
4pm performance only: You can fly too!
After the main performance the children of the audience will have the opportunity to fly. There will be a short, thirty minute, aerial workshop supervised by the Fidget Feet cast and crew where children will learn some basic moves and lifts on Aerial Cocoons. This is an extremely fun, easy and safe introduction to Aerial for young children.
After a trip to JoAnn Fabrics and some time poking in their remnant bins and $5.00 bolts rack I found fabrics that would add some texture to small "Fidget Quilts". The bright red is a polyester satin, there's a dark blue wide wale corduroy, a burgundy, polyester "velvet", etc. These fabrics all survived laundering in hot water and a trip through the dryer on high heat so they were good to be cut into five inch squares. The Velcro is one of two "fidget-able" items on this quilt .. the yellow prairie point near is the other. Everything else is secure down.

Forgot to take an intentional PAD today, but I have a cropped picture of my son showing off his very first fidget spinner.

Suspended in the air 40 metres above your head, watch a love story unfold that reaches passed this life and into the next. Aerial circus, music and story telling of all kinds come together to make Wired & Free, a show where the world is our stage.
In the past four years Wired and Free has been performed in front of over 62,000 spectators all over Ireland, Australia and the UK, including a jaw dropping show at the prestigious Glastonbury Music Festival.
Wired & Free was commissioned by The Donegal Bay and Bluestack Arts Festival and the Donegal County Council in Oct 2005.
Fidget Feet are a pint-sized Cirque du Soleil originating from Donegal in Ireland. Their work has toured internationally to some of the biggest arts festivals in the world.

Here are three small fidget quilts ready to be delivered to Kingston Residence tomorrow. Thanks to generous donations of trims, fancy fabrics and zippers made by my friends on the About.com quilting forum I have had a great deal of creative fun putting these little things together. After years of working for weeks or months on "heavy-duty" quilts with hundreds of small pieces making these small quilts seems like child's play. And yet I know that these small lap quilts will be comforting to those who now have child-like minds.

Bought a little fidget spinner cube thing. I took this picture with my Fuji in electronic shutter mode so I could use the rolling shutter effect to make it look weird.
