taking a break at the highest part of the hour-long trip at the 'Rest & Be Thankful' snack bar

The ten-minute stop to give folks chance to take in the bracing breeze and distant view was but part of a most enjoyable ride, made all the richer by John Williams, the driver, with his splendid commentary in which he highlighted not only the historical significance of places and buildings that we passed but also many more recent developments on the Orme, in the town and throughout the Conwy area.

£5? - for once well worth it!

I got my camera to take a picture every minute on christmas day. We had friends over, ate turkey, drank, socialised, played 'donkey konga' bongo's & then 'pictionary'.

Out of about 1000 pictures i weeded out 200 of the best frames & ran them together at about 10fps.

For a more detailed look, watch the other SLOW version which i've uploaded on my vimeo site:

Nikon D7000. PSE11. I worked on this image for over three days. Just when I thought I had its problems resolved I would upload and something else would pop out at me. All this after days working through other images with little success. Shouldn't complain though really, this was a wonderful learning experience. For the solid fill layer I used #ff9933 with 'multiply' at 35% opacity. And then the sepia photo filter with 'overlay' at 30% opacity. The color scheme as a whole is probably a little bit unnatural but I am ok with that. I am totally in love with the color of the sky at top left.

En hjemmelavet summa-bombe. Bemærk det orange æggeur i autentisk farvekode #FF9933.

Til diverse sikkerhedstjenesters oplysning: Bomben er en attrap.
