The Blanes 2024 fiesta fills the coast with fireworks and concerts for everyone.

WITH A CENTURY OF FIREWORKS TRADITION one of the most fascinating and essential events in Blanes is this festival of lights, colors and smoke that brings tens of thousands of spectators to our beaches every July.
The fireworks are launched from Sa Palomera, an incomparable setting to light up the sky and the eyes of the spectators on memorable nights at the end of July that also arrive loaded with concerts and the desire to enjoy the nights in the fresh air.

A bit of context - this was taken during the annual festa celebrations in honour of the patron saint (San Gejtanu) at Hamrun, Malta. On Sunday morning (until mid-afternoon), the town's two rival bands march through the locality in the hot August sun - it's one big, and mobile, street party. Depending on which band they follow, many wear red or blue - usually clothes, but not exclusively.
