Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is Car details. And since Mr. Teddy Bear is truly a car lover, he is the best for presenting this theme. Of course we celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays at the same time, so it is a win -win situation.

Mr. Teddy Bear loves cars and he has quite a collection. No wonder he had such a hard time choosing the car for this theme. But, Mr. Teddy Bear’s Ferrari is the car with the most beautiful details for sure … So that is why, this was Mr. teddy’s choice. I must admit: even on a Ferrari toy, the details are very well made … I absolutely love the stylish star shaped details on the wheels… ant during moments like this, I ask myself : would I drive more often if I had a Ferrari ?? Maybe, if I get a Ferrari as a Christmas gift I will become a car lover ?? But those kind of questions disappear very quickly from my mind… I still hate driving and I don’t think there is a car in this world which will make me love driving… Except if it comes with a private driver or maybe if it is a self driving car…

Have a beautiful day ! Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!!

Let's drive together ....

In 1961, Ferrari competed for the first time with a mid-engined single-seater, the Type 156. The racing car earned its nickname "Sharknose" due to its unusual cooling intake. Carlo Chiti's design stood out not only for its appearance, but also for its speed.

In seven races, a red racer took pole position six times and five wins, as well as the fastest lap. It took the driving genius of Stirling Moss to prevent Ferrari from sweeping the championship. Nevertheless, at the end of the season, both world championship titles went to Ferrari – but no one in Italy was in the mood to celebrate.

World Championship leader Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips started from pole position at Ferrari's home race in Monza. During the race, von Trips' Ferrari and Jim Clark's Lotus touched. The consequences were fatal: The Ferrari shot sideways over the embankment and broke apart.

Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips succumbed to his injuries, and the title went to Phil Hill. In 1962, the Sharknose cars were unable to match the successes of the previous year. Reportedly, Enzo Ferrari, in a fit of rage, had all nine Ferrari 156s shredded and encased in concrete on the Ferrari factory premises.
