Auf dem ehemaligen Bauernhof erlernten die Söhne des letzten deutschen Kaisers Wilhelms II., der die Insel erworben hatte, landwirtschaftliche Grundkenntnisse, während sie im Prinzenhaus am Festland wohnten. An der Südspitze der Prinzeninsel Plön befand sich der Lieblingsplatz der letzten deutschen Kaiserin, Auguste Viktoria. (Wikipedia)
On the former farm, the sons of the last German Emperor Wilhelm II, who had acquired the island, learned basic agricultural knowledge while living in the Prince's House on the mainland. On the southern tip of the Prinzeninsel Plön was the favorite place of the last German Empress, Auguste Viktoria.
Today, I learned a lot about how to make my picture get higher resolution. Quite simple to follow and it gives maximum results.

My Favorite place to be with camera/flask of tea at moment, have been visiting on and off now for some time and on this particular morning an otter decided to make an appearance up close and personel, gutted I never caught him as he turned up just as the sun was about to break over the ridge, maybe next time.

Schloss Favorite is a Baroque maison de plaisance and hunting lodge in Ludwigsburg, Germany. It is located on a rise, directly north of Ludwigsburg Palace.
The Schloss was built from 1717 to 1723 for the sovereign Duke of Württemberg, Eberhard Ludwig.
Finally had a chance to get there when there weren't many people around. :-) Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Sadly the scrub oak colors have faded, the leaves are falling and there is a definite chill to the morning air. I did manage to get a few good shots of the jays as they landed in our tree before making their mad dash to the peanuts. This particular perch was full of cones and the birds and I agree - this is probably our favorite perch! My next post will be of a blue jay in the same spot. I was hoping for a stellar here as well for the trifecta, but alas, it was not to be. Woodhouse's scrub jay.

The New Palace is an 18th-century Baroque palace in the center of Stuttgart and is one of the last large city palaces built in Southern Germany. This is one of my favorite points of view for the palace especially during the blue hour.
This is a favorite spot for me. One of Alabama's wonderful treasures. This beautiful little waterfall, is always beautiful. I especially love this one during the fall.
I thought I would try an hdr of it, and see how it worked out. I hope you like the results.
The best part of this waterfall is it a short hike. It felt so good to be out and hiking again. Even if it was a short hike. The path to nature all begins with the first steps.
The dead tree on which this Bald Eagle is perched is a favorite for all kinds of birds, so I always go and look at it before I leave Klineline Park. Sometimes I have a pleasant surprise, like this Bald Eagle.

Favorite is the name of the building. It is one of several palaces and castles in and around Ludwigsburg and dates back to the early 18th century. In its early days it was used as a hunting palace and a summer residence by the Duke of Wuerttemberg. Favorite makes a lovely splash of colour in the wintry landscape even if it needs a repaint.

My Favorite Bird I photographed last year. After long hike in to the Ohlone right in the middle of Goat Rock I saw the bird and as I climbed up the trail I was just hoping that it will stay at this branch, and it did. Maybe I should go look for it again?
