#6: a favorite thing — crochet collar
I'm doing a small daily project this month; it started on instagram (look up @fatmumslim, it's her challenge) and I decided to do it on both places: the iphone and the camera. I've been posting the results at the blog every day, as well as outtakes. It would mean the world to me if you went to take a look and followed me on this project. I've been feeling a little... frustrated with my work, lately, so your support has and will continue to be essential.

And I am taking part in a November photo challenge with a friend. We are using the November 2014 prompt list from the 'FatMumSlim' website.

Yes, I have once again signed up for a 365 which coincides with a 365 with FatMumSlim. Day 1 is favorite colour and mine is purple.
Love the shelves at Rogers and all the amazing decorations!!! These deer are so sweet!!! Did I get any? Nope nothing!!
My dolls are honestly one of my most prized possessions. I've met so many incredible people because of them. Some of them are my friends now! I've learned what I want to be when I grow up (photographer). And they've opened me up to a new world that is called Youtube. SO many things I've learned because of Youtube. Thank you; Molly, Chrissa, Paige, Mia Bailey, Quinn Dianna and Clare. And I'm proud to call them mine. <3
I'm going to be doing a doll a day based on these words. Anyone want to play?!

For a couple of months I've been participating in a photo a day group on Facebook (HERE) and really enjoying it. So I decided to start sharing them here too. May not get around to all my friends as life is pretty busy!
...and every day for the last (almost) 30 years!
using fatmumslim's prompts, which are coming weekly, instead of monthly now, with my own added challenge of making each one multi-layered
... Inside of a hug. I know it's not a physical place, but it's still one of my favourites in the whole world. That's just so... right. So lovely, always!

Oh I wish this still lit up but I can always change the lights! My mom made this in the 70's and it hung in our living room each Christmas till it was no longer in style (or looked too tacky according to my dad lol) so up in the rafters of the garage it went till hubs and I helped my mom with her decorations and found it after all these years - yes it's a bit tacky but I remember so many of the pieces of jewelry ( my dad's cuff links are in there too, I remember playing with them during church) ;D
She wanted to give it away to someone she hardly knew and I said no way!!!! I may do something with it or one of the grand kids may want it! It's safe for now :D

So this one is a big joke cause I didn't mean to buy this. I had several things in my cart on Etsy and when a release of a favorite artist came out - I popped all her stuff in my cart and hurried to check out - didn't realized I bought everything in my cart - good thing the 800.00 doll didn't allow me to check out or that would have been disastrous!!! I had this in my cart because of the vintage candy canes so I guess I really wanted them LOL - good thing it wasn't that expensive so now to see who wants this duplicate Santa couple and other Santa :D
The gal I bought this from put a lot of effort into packaging it also and love the paper she wrapped my box in - it was a very special box of vintage goodies <3

Now that we've all recovered sufficiently from the year's worth of pictures from 2015, I was hoping there might be interest in a month long doll photo challenge for April. My plan was to use fatmumslim's list for the prompts.
I can go ahead and make a group to share pictures if anyone else would like to play along. Or, alternatively, if anyone knows of a group that's already up and running, please point me in their direction!
