I feel I have drifted into the dolly doldrums over the summer and my energy and creative ideas for doll photography are at an all-time low.
So rather than mope I have turned to ‘FatMumSlim’s’ photo prompt list for September. But I do not want any pressure on me to complete a challenge. So I am not taking part in the ADAD Challenge for September but I am using the September prompts!
Confused?!
Here is how it will work for me.
Some days I will take lots of photos, yet on other days I will take none. Some of the prompts I might do twice, and some not at all. And I will be taking the prompts in a random order too.
All I want from this prompt list is to feel re-energised about taking doll photos
So in keeping with my wholly relaxed approach to using these September prompts I am going to start posting on the last day of August! LOL!

Trying to do a 365 using topics from fatmumslim.com.au/january-2022-photo-a-day-challenge/ Having to do my daily steps around the house due to the having to isolate, so this is how I'm starting 2022
#6: a favorite thing — crochet collar
I'm doing a small daily project this month; it started on instagram (look up @fatmumslim, it's her challenge) and I decided to do it on both places: the iphone and the camera. I've been posting the results at the blog every day, as well as outtakes. It would mean the world to me if you went to take a look and followed me on this project. I've been feeling a little... frustrated with my work, lately, so your support has and will continue to be essential.

ADAD November
Yes, I have once again signed up for a 365 which coincides with a 365 with FatMumSlim. Day 1 is favorite colour and mine is purple.
My dolls are honestly one of my most prized possessions. I've met so many incredible people because of them. Some of them are my friends now! I've learned what I want to be when I grow up (photographer). And they've opened me up to a new world that is called Youtube. SO many things I've learned because of Youtube. Thank you; Molly, Chrissa, Paige, Mia Bailey, Quinn Dianna and Clare. And I'm proud to call them mine. <3
I'm going to be doing a doll a day based on these words. Anyone want to play?!

Oh I wish this still lit up but I can always change the lights! My mom made this in the 70's and it hung in our living room each Christmas till it was no longer in style (or looked too tacky according to my dad lol) so up in the rafters of the garage it went till hubs and I helped my mom with her decorations and found it after all these years - yes it's a bit tacky but I remember so many of the pieces of jewelry ( my dad's cuff links are in there too, I remember playing with them during church) ;D
She wanted to give it away to someone she hardly knew and I said no way!!!! I may do something with it or one of the grand kids may want it! It's safe for now :D

Todays FMS Photo A Day prompt was the word Breakfast. Here is my typical morning. A cup of coffee and my laptop. I rarely have breakfast. So I had to create a breakfast for todays photos. #fmspad @fatmumslim
I laid around all day sick and listened to the rain sleeping on and off trying to get better for New Years day!
Dec 12 - Lights
I love how our neighbor puts up this really fun spider for Oct and this year they kept it up and put a Santa hat on him (hard to see it) - he needs to stay up for Valentine's day with a giant heart LOL
... Inside of a hug. I know it's not a physical place, but it's still one of my favourites in the whole world. That's just so... right. So lovely, always!

Dec 11 - Free Choice
So today's theme was my choice and while helping my mom get down all her Christmas decorations she had the little tree I got him when he was in the rehab hospital prior to him coming home to reach his eternal home. It's funny how something so plain can evoke so many many memories!! Miss you dad so much, things are just not the same without you!!!
The river with out silly fur friends - my brave little poopy doopy at 13 swims in a current with no fear :D

(I've still got a lot to learn about lighting and off camera flash so please excuse the annoying light and marks from previous clean-ups on the right of the shot :) )
So this one is a big joke cause I didn't mean to buy this. I had several things in my cart on Etsy and when a release of a favorite artist came out - I popped all her stuff in my cart and hurried to check out - didn't realized I bought everything in my cart - good thing the 800.00 doll didn't allow me to check out or that would have been disastrous!!! I had this in my cart because of the vintage candy canes so I guess I really wanted them LOL - good thing it wasn't that expensive so now to see who wants this duplicate Santa couple and other Santa :D
The gal I bought this from put a lot of effort into packaging it also and love the paper she wrapped my box in - it was a very special box of vintage goodies <3
