So finally the elusively promised snow arrived on a morning where as I was rudely awakened yet again, by my neighbour who seemingly cannot hold civil conversations without shouting it all over everyone else, but, when I opened the curtains and saw the picture of Winter before me, despite my level of fatigue, I grabbed everything and headed on out into the Storkow countryside.
I happened upon these tracks in what was a completely still and silent environment, wanting to add something more to the chill factor, I breathed onto the lens glass, awaited for the mist to slightly subside and snapped off this shot. I think it worked to create a more Wintry suggestion of cold.
I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)
I found this bird very soon after arriving at the start of the Edge early on the Wednesday morning. I hung around for a while taking photos - it'd been a few years since I saw a male bird in breeding plumage.
Thank you for your faves and comments - much appreciated. I'll try to catch up with your photos later, I'm struggling with ME malaise and fatigue at present.

I take a seat, like the birds singing;
It is the distant fatigue and the mist;
I fall like the wind on the light.
I fall on my soul.
Behold the bird of miracles;
behold the tattoos of my castle;
behold my feathers on the sea, which shouts goodbye.
I fall from my soul.
And I break into pieces, the soul, over the winter;
I fall from the wind onto the light;
I fall from the dove on the wind.
