The Amish father was holding his younger daughter in watching the migration of a large group of snow geese in Middle Creek, Pennsylvania
Dad or the Alpha male (right) and Son from last spring. The family group usually consists of a breeding pair - Alpha male & female, and non breeding offspring from previous seasons. The male offspring can stay with the family group for 1 or 2 years.
A few weeks back our son the police officer called when we were sleeping and said get your camera and get down to Lake Michigan. So we did and what a good show it was. Here is Dave by Brian watching the lights dance. Special short time with him till he had to leave.

Another beautiful view just outside the park. This image is a tribute to my wonderful father who passed away at the age of 92 in 2009.
In the afternoon after visiting Zion National Park, I took a Zion Outback Safaris trip outside the park. The 3-hour “Mesa Vista” Safari followed North Creek toward the Kolob Terrace, then explored Smith Mesa. Smith Mesa was 'open range'. The area provided spectacular panoramas which stretched from West Temple to the Kolob Fingers at the northern end of the park.
