Flø is a village on the outer edge of the main island Hareidlandet close to Ulsteinvik, at the west coast of Norway.
"God Made a Farmer" - I think of Paul Harvey's famous God Made a Farmer prose when I drive around Michigan's Thumb to see the farms, usually in the Fall. This photo was taken near Davison, MI. If you wish to be moved by his prose, google "god made a farmer" to see the Dodge RAM Super Bowl commercial from a few years back. The many still-photos shown are quite an ode to the life of a farmer.
When spring finally begins to warm the land, lakes and ponds of Minnesota, early morning sights bathe the eyes with other worldly presentations. This farm site near our hometown is one of my favorites and each season it seeks to outdo itself by putting on displays seldom seen at other times of the year.

We came across quite a few homes like this. Many were in use whilst a good number appeared vacant. My thoughts were that their occupancy might be dependent upon the time of the year and the status of the crop. Perhaps the occupants live in these huts when required to work the land and then return to other accommodation at quieter times.
