The Odeon Cinema in Richmond sports a typical late Modernist/Art Deco architecture. Designed by Leathert and Granger, it opened in 1930 as the Richmond Kinema.

The façade is a bit on the heavy side in my opinion, compared to the contemporary O2 Forum in Kentish Town or Odeon in Holloway.

Und dann sind sie faul, was ihnen allerdings den Status als Nutztier einbringt. Denn Feuerkäfer nutzen für ihren Nachwuchs die Gänge unter der Rinde, die andere Käfer wie der Borkenkäfer gebohrt haben. Dort fressen Feuerkäfer-Larven die Borkenkäfer-Larven.

Somit retten Feuerkäfer den Wald 😉
