Rosarote falsche Wimpern. Für einen verdrehten Blick in den Himmel.

Admittedly – if you look closely – the view of the sky is a little disturbed by someone who produces false eyebrows ... And it could also turn out to be difficult to see the sky clearly at all with the cross-eye view ... Or maybe does this being roll its eyes here because I disturb it? Anyway – chic eyelashes, right?

#MacroMondays 2021 / Juli 26 / #Eye / Good vibes and HMM to everyone!
Whilst getting ready to go out a couple of evenings ago I decided to try a quick picture of my eye.
When I then viewed the picture I realised I had actually managed to capture a refelection of me taking the self portrait in my pupil.
This shot was actually taken using my Canon Ixus 80 compact.

If you were under a rock or in a coma and missed the actual shot here ya go!!
I found these false lashes at a beauty shop located in a border town adjacent to SE DC. Last Saturday, prior to meeting my friend Andy, I thought that it would be fun to wear them out. They were difficult to apply. I didn't wear them out that evening.
Taken at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Jen is a photographer and makeup artist. To help with the "Witchy" look she was going for, she painted several bats on her cheeks. Like most of the other models, she adopted a stern look fitting for the theme. However she has a great smile and seems to be a very nice young lady.
I give all the credit in the world to girls who know how to properly apply false eyelashes......
For TRP: Plain White
TOTW: Drawn on, although I have not drawn all over my face, I am counting it for the degree of difficulty that I had with these lashes......
Okay, I sucessfully glued my lower lashes to my upper lashes and had to pry them apart. That was not fun. Also I had to take the Kid to work ,and had to drive around my town with these on, because I was not done shooting.
I got these lashes on the clearance rack for .99 cents. I think they photograph well. What perplexes me is who would acutally buy these for use in real life. Well aside from other Flickrites. I asked my kid that question and she responded, strippers. I think the stores should just have a small section of an isle just for 365 props, that would really narrow down my shopping time.
Narrator: It was worth every penny.
Marla Singer: It's a bridesmaid's dress. Someone loved it intensely for one day, and then tossed it. Like a Christmas tree. So special. Then, bam, it's on the side of the road.
[Grabs Narrator's crotch]
Tinsel still clinging to it. Like a sex crime victim. Underwear inside out. Bound with electrical tape.
Narrator: Well, then it suits you.
Marla Singer: You can borrow it sometime.

I creeped myself out with this one. In case you're wondering, it took three hours to glue all those rhinestones on my face.

Self portrait - I found these old mouse ears in the attic along with some other stuff from Disney World and such, so I decided to dress up and shoot myself! I have been told many times that I remind people of a cat because of my "cat like" eyes, and probably because cats are my favorite pets and I have three of them. =^.^=

Redid the rainbow. This time with darker colors and I'm not sure I like the results. I prefer neons, I think. Good news is this time I didn't lose any hair during the bleaching process.
I liked this photo originally because of all the shadows, but at some point during the editing process they started to get on my nerves and now I'm suffering from that thing where I can't look at it objectively anymore. So I'm going to put it out there just to force myself to let it go.
I took other photos of the full length of my hair. Haven't finished messing with them, though.
I had other pics with my eyes open that showed how the eyeshadow stripes lined up with the stripes on my lashes, but the colors didn't look as natural in those. Everything looked kind of yellow. I took this pic in the dark, with the flash as my only light source.
