Austria series: Golden High Tauern
Fall had arrived at the High Tauern National Park: The Larch trees had turned golden, the moutain tops were powdered with the first snow and the marmots had gone to sleep until spring.
Der Herbst war in den Hohen Tauern angekommen: Die Lärchen hatten sich goldgelb verfärbt, auf den Berggipfeln lag der erste Schnee und die Murmeltiere hatten sich für den Winterschlaf zurückgezogen.
Austria Series no 12: Taugl
The Taugl is a small mountain river which partly runs through a ravine. It's especially beautiful in the fall, when the red stone, the fallen leaves and the fall foliage create a colorful image.
To reach this photo spot you have to walk in the river bed until you reach the entry of the canyon. Please be careful - slot canyons can be dangerous!
🇩🇪 Der Tauglbach ist ein kleiner Gebirgsfluss, der teilweise eine Schlucht in das Gestein gegraben hat. Im Herbst ist es dort besonders schön, wenn das rote Gestein, das gefallene Laub und die Herbstfarben zusammen ein stimmungsvolles Gesamtbild ergeben.
Für dieses Bild muss man ein Stück im Flussbett bis in die Schlucht hineinlaufen - dabei sollte man unbedingt die (in Slot Canyons übliche) Vorsicht walten lassen!
Lüttgenrode/GER
Lüttgenrode gehörte bis 1648 zum Bistum Halberstadt, später zum Fürstentum Halberstadt. Der Ort unterstand direkt dem Amt Stötterlingenburg-Wülperode und gelangte 1815 an den Regierungsbezirk Magdeburg der preußischen Provinz Sachsen. Ab 1961 lag der Ort unmittelbar im Grenzgebiet der DDR und war nur mit einer Sondergenehmigung zu erreichen.

10/24/20...A day as the tidy bowl man and vacuum Sam...only time for 12 clicks...this little Carolina Wren landed on the stump closest my window. Of the 12 clicks, there are 4 nice ones...including this shot. I will be posting a 1 minute montage of them soon.
After snagging these photos I decided to have a Bonfire...I had accumulated a bio-mass that could possibly be tough to control...skies were overcast (people can't see the smoke and call the fire department) and there was a slight breeze blowing away from the house. It went off without a hitch🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥...except I hung out with my big Speaker and enjoyed the fire and nice weather until 6pm.

10/27/20...Today, after having seen numerous posts on Instagram, condemning life in America, I gave thought to those posting...all Artists...all with intelligence or at least an education (I think)...and yet they have no concept of reality...the reality for the people they supposedly champion. For like me, they are living a life that others only dream of...all the creature comforts are there for us...and we have too much time to think...way too much time. So, with all my free time, I decided to research the word Intellectual...all the definitions I found were bullshat😉...probably crafted by intellectuals😂. The only things that matter are shelter, fire, water, air, food...and we have senselessly killed each other since the dawn of man.
