Rest your weary bones - a bench in Ancaster, Ontario

I saw this hermit thrush on a cool autumn day.

The hermit thrush is known for its distinct beautiful song and they often inhabit forests in the far north during the summer and move across southern North American during winter. The hermit thrush forages for food on the ground by rummaging through leaves or grabbing insects with its beak.

The late afternoon sun was creating some interesting shadows on the trees. This was taken at Crooks' Hollow Trail, Flamborough, Ontario. mantkowski.blogspot.com/2010/10/crooks-hollow-trail-in-fl...

Sean pontificates. Life-- what's it all about?

in Rockport, MA, the leaves are a little slow to change!

Another angle of the sunset in Proviencetown!

These kind of trees I often see at high altitudes where there is little earth and lots of wind.
