The woods are loaded right now with the "falltime chantarelles", the brown variant of chantarelles that is, Craterellus tubaeformis in latin.
Also the red-yellow chantarelles are very common now in falltime and will be until winter sets in. Cantharellus lutescens is the name in latin for that sort.

“The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. As longs as this exists, and it certainly always will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles.”

We've posted this before but never on Flickr - we can't figure for the life of us why not. (here it is on tumblr, though)
In any case, we figured today was as good a day as any to post it for a couple reasons:
A) Yet another reminder that falltime is awesome and we are super duper excited to shoot more!
B) Gonna shoot more here, specifically!
C) It's really quite pretty.
But yes we're definitely going back to Stowe to shoot some more sun-soaked, colourful, autumn-y goodness very soon! (Also, lots of booty shots lately, hopefully you're all okay with that.)
