I just love this photo of Felix and Vincent hiking in the magical Sächsische-Schweiz, just 30 minutes south east of Dresden!
ISO 800 A: F4.0 S: 1/15
The early AM light just touching the trees and the Peaks. This picture is from the Lowell Observatory road in Flagstaff, AZ.
Its cloudy weather, mostly foggy. The sun is nowhere to be seen and its just grey everywhere other than ofcourse the foliage colors. So what do you do when there is no interesting subject other than again the foliage? You put yourself into the picture to give it sense of scale and also draw the viewer's attention. It had rained pretty decently the day before and the ridge slope was mostly slippery driving me extra careful while going down to the spot and coming up as well.
That's me looking down the Tinkers Creek Gorge.
Have a wonderful weekend ❤
