Wednesday 16th March 2022, RAF Valley had two F-16 Fighting Falcons divert in due to adverse weather conditions on the East Coast of the United Kingdom. These F-16's are based in Aviano, Italy
The US Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, known as "Thunderbirds", performing aerial demonstrations in F-16C Fighting Falcon at Jones Beach.
The Bethpage Air Show is a Memorial Day weekend tradition, this is the 19th annual event that draws hundreds of thousands of spectators.
To avoid the crowd and traffic, we went to the practice show, saw the same performances but with a fraction of the spectators.
Enjoy your weekend, and I will be taking a moment this weekend to honor those who served our nation and are no longer with us!
Unfortunately Yesterday's air show was totally washed out,
Saturday with better day, I always go on Sunday.

Spend 7 hours at the beach and was not fun, so cold with the wind.
We had the thunderbirds this year.

Experimenting lower shutter speeds on fast moving jets. Only a few keepers but I am beginning to like them.

This photograph was taken at this years Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, England. The Air Tattoo is one of the largest air displays in Europe and has visitors from all around the world as participants and visitors. The Air Tattoo has been in existence for about 50 years, albeit not always at RAF Fairford. The Air Tattoo website link is at www.airtattoo.com/
