It's nice to have a wide lens. I stumbled upon this by accident. When I was stopped by what seemed to be an emergency road closure involving about a dozen vehicles with all their lights flashing like crazy. They were clearing the road for a whole convoy of the longest trucks I've ever seen. The beams they were carrying ended up at 29 Road as it crosses the Railroad yards and I-70 B in Grand Junction. Now I drive over the bridge that they were used to build several times per week.

We Saw this rig crawling up Douglas Pass. I was able to get around him when he stopped at the summit to do a safety check. Just as we came off of the switchbacks on the south face of the pass I spotted him starting down. So we pulled over and waited for him to go by.

If you've ever been over Douglas Pass you know how tight the switchbacks are. This guy just zipped right on through like it was no big deal. That is a lot of skill!
