Get up early and go out to the lake. Breathe the fresh air and listen to the sound of silence, supplemented by the singing birds and the fire rising over the horizon.

Was walking around in the foggy days of November, when this scene caught my eye. The leaves are still turning, but the brown colors start to dominate. In particular, I like the almost leafless branches and how they appear as sketchy lines in a pencil drawing.

A mesmerizing close-up of the Namib Sand Gecko, a nocturnal desert dweller perfectly adapted to the arid dunes of Namibia. Its translucent skin, reflective eyes, and delicate frame make it one of the most unique reptiles to explore in the vast desert landscape.
Look at that color, melting together in the evening sky. On the horizon you can see the mountain ranges of the Black Forest and Palatine Forest.

It is not the first time I captured this fallen tree in lake Bruchtalsee but it is the first time in black and white. The water isn't that smooth every day, which allows to gain that look and the reflections of the reed.

This fruit tree was in full bloom by the end of march. The warm light of the setting sun was reflected by the scene and the blossom leaves of the tree. This fine situation was also used by a wedding photographer, taking her clients to this tree.

While my mum and I were waiting for my sister's flight to arrive, the idea was to take some photos of the airfield during blue hour. Therefore, I used one of the viewpoints, which normally plane spotters use.

You might remember this tree from one of my former photographs. The tree is the same, but the weather conditions are completely different. Check out the older version as well: www.flickr.com/photos/153534027@N06/40614862283/in/datepo...

By the end of May, my sister Aurelia arrived in Stuttgart Airport, coming home from her PhD studies in Melbourne over the summer months. While my mum and I were waiting for her plane to arrive, the idea was to take some photos of the airfield during blue hour. Therefore, I used one of the viewpoints, which normally plane spotters use. During some spectacular light, this scene caught my eye even more. It shows the Stuttgart TV tower (216,6 m) as a minimalistic part of the sky, filled with some awesome colors.

This nice field of anemones was in full bloom mid of April. It is a little bit difficult to catch them in best light due to their occurrence in the woods.

A portrait of a lovely pine tree in the nature reserve Betzenbuckel. While the very first rays of daylight set the upper half on fire, the lower part lies still in shade.

The changeable hawk-eagle or crested hawk-eagle (Nisaetus cirrhatus) is a bird of prey species of the family Accipitridae. It was formerly placed in the genus Spizaetus, but studies pointed to the group being paraphyletic resulting in the Old World members being placed in Nisaetus (Hodgson, 1836) and separated from the New World species.[

The Indian nightjar (Caprimulgus asiaticus) is a small nightjar which is a resident breeder in open lands across South Asia and Southeast Asia. Like most nightjars it is crepuscular and is best detected from its characteristic calls at dawn and dusk that have been likened to a stone skipping on a frozen lake - a series of clicks that become shorter and more rapid. They are sometimes spotted on roads when their eyes gleam red in the spotlight of a vehicle
The crested serpent eagle (Spilornis cheela) is a medium-sized bird of prey that is found in forested habitats across tropical Asia. Within its widespread range across the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia and East Asia, there are considerable variations and some authorities prefer to treat several of its subspecies as completely separate species
