We are passionate about bringing a relaxed approach while creating beautiful, natural and vibrant images.
The last few months I have been putting together my first photo zine called Layover. The zine is made up of images I captured on two layovers during my flight back from Europe. The photographs tell a story of how one experiences layovers. They show the loneliness that one can feel between flights. From sitting in a row by yourself reading a book, playing with your smartphone and listening to music, to falling asleep while waiting for your next flight. Whatever it was, everyone experiences a layover differently. We all can relate on a personal level to some of these images.
All images were shot on a Lomography LC-A 120. Films used were Lomo Lady Grey 400, Ilford HP5+ 400 both pushed to 1600 and Delta 3200 shot @ 1600. All development and scanning were done by myself.

Ice sheets go around in an eddy in a side pool of the river Kitkajoki in Kuusamo, Finland. It was so cold that my only battery gave me like 5 x 4 minute exposures and that was it! But the mini road trip through the night and a beautiful hike in the magical moonlit forest was already totally worth it and hey at least I got few frames on top of that! There's a phenomenon under the surface that can be witnessed when small fish like these sardines here move into a defensive formation. It's called a bait ball and we were lucky at this day of rough sea at the Kicker Rock dive site at Isla San Cristóbal at the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador to being able to dive into one during my #195daysoffreedom . The amount of fish was enormous and the whole ball extended to about 10x10 meters. Diving into it was a once in a lifetime experience with the fish moving perfectly synchronized to make way for us divers. So I slowly swam inside and suddenly the outside was gone. I became part of the ball, only fish around me, shedding the light out and moving with me in perfect synchronization. Absolutely stunning.
