While driving up the challenging Sani Pass into Lesotho, I came across this Mosotho man carrying sticks and wood up the mountain. His survival depends on gathering and trading this wood for food each day. Life in these remote, harsh environments is tough, and seeing this firsthand truly makes you reflect on the difficulties some face just to meet basic needs. It's a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of people in communities far from the modern conveniences we're used to.
