In the woods, an old defence line from the 17th century meanders through the hills and valleys next to my home place in southwestern Germany. This Eppinger lines reached from Weißenstein (Pforzheim) over Sternenfels, Eppingen, right to Neckargmünd with a total length of 86 kilometers. This construction was built during the War of the Palatinate Succession (pfälzischer Erbfolgekrieg) in which the French King Louis XIV (called the Sun King) claimed the heritage of Elisabeth Charlotte, Princess of the Palatinate. Today, a nice hiking trail follows the line and reconstructed lookout towers can be visited.

The desert whispers in curves and light, shaping golden waves that shift with the breath of the wind. Shadows stretch across the dunes, tracing the passage of time in a landscape untouched, yet ever-changing. A vision of solitude and serenity, where nature paints its own masterpiece.

I believe a more or less classy shot at the beach. Find a piece of foreground, place your tripod, screw the ND-Filter on your lense and take some long-exposure with the waves rolling in.
Another classy part about it are the wet feet you get?!

Tried to capture the sunrise here, but only got a test-shot at the ending of the blue hour.
Even so, everything looked perfect for the shot I wanted, only 5 minutes later the mist hit the coast and we were soaked by heavy rain.
Only 10 minutes later and the sun would have raised above the horizont and the shot would've been perfect.
