Took the Audi off road because that bish is 4x4! I wasn't too worried about nails because we had a spare and it wasn't my car;-) And tbh I had a great feeling as we came down the road that led us here. Fun time it was.

Agent Whiskers reporting from the Aquatic Surveillance Unit. Method of gathering intel – periscope mode. Status – damp but effective. Mission – I’d tell you, but then I’d have to splash you.
The sun sinks slowly beyond the hills, setting the Gulf of Thailand ablaze in molten gold. The sea catches every flicker of light, turning calm ripples into ribbons of fire. In this quiet moment, the world pauses—caught between day and night, shadow and flame. The silhouette of the island stands still, guarding the horizon as if reluctant to let the day go.
We witnessed a nice flight show of all kinds of "Birds of Prey" at the Mpayathutlwa Pan Waterhole in the Mabuasehube region. Besides this Secretary Bird, there were a dozen Bateleurs, adults and Juveniles in the air.

The Kingfishers were pretty activ all day and luckily I looked at my back, instead watching were they had been just seconds before.
This one was sitting only a few meters away in a dead tree.
Just spent an evening by the Stock Ghyll river in Ambleside, and I couldn’t resist capturing its beauty with my tiny Leica C-Lux 1 compact digital camera. The gentle flow of the water, the lush greenery, and the serene atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a peaceful escape. 🌿💚
Every corner of this enchanting place tells a story, and I’m so grateful to have experienced it. If you’re ever in the Lake District, make sure to visit Ambleside. You won’t regret it! 💕\

The old town of Ohrid climbs the hillside in layers, with many houses with red-tiled roofs scattered among trees and narrow streets. Rising high above the town stands the impressive Fortress of Tsar Samuel, one of the most iconic historic landmarks of North Macedonia. This medieval fortress largely dates back to the 10th century, when Tsar Samuel of the Bulgarian Empire made Ohrid his capital. From the fortress walls it was possible to control the entire area around Lake Ohrid. Its strategic position on the hill made it an important defensive stronghold for centuries. Originally the fortress had 18 towers and four large gates and formed part of an extensive defensive system protecting the city. Today large sections of the walls are still intact, and visitors can walk along them while enjoying sweeping views over the town, the lake and the surrounding mountains. A large flag of North Macedonia now flies proudly above the walls. Below the fortress lies the historic city of Ohrid, which together with Lake Ohrid is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The combination of ancient history, traditional architecture and the deep blue lake makes Ohrid one of the most remarkable and atmospheric places in the Balkans.

A breathtaking view of Namibia’s timeless rock formations beneath a sky painted with delicate clouds. This stunning landscape tells a story of resilience, sculpted by the forces of nature over millennia. A glimpse into the raw beauty of Africa’s wilderness.

37° Celsius, the mud is on. I was really wondering with the water nearby, that these few hippos prefered lying in the burning sun. But maybe, it feels good, with that thick layer of mud on the skin??!

Cronk ny Merriu is an excellent example of a Manx promontory fort - Ken gave us an interesting talk about it, including how many people (and animals) that might have lived in the long house that was once there. There was already someone settled there and looking out to sea.
