Designed by celebrated architect Harry Wolf, Rivergate Tower is widely recognized as a fixture of Tampa’s skyline. Built in 1988, its distinctive cylindrical shape was meant to symbolize a lighthouse—sending out a brilliant beacon of economic light from downtown Tampa.
I found these damage negatives in a box last month - a West Camera lab accident from 1996 - dated by the other images on the roll. I have no idea what church this was or where in Montreal I shot it...
UPDATE: It took about 7 hours for the power of Flickr to inform me that this was Holy Trinity, a downtown Montreal Quebec Greek Orthodox Church. Further online research gleaned that Holy Trinity was constructed in 1865 and for the first 60 years of its existence it was known as the Sherbrooke Street Methodist Church. The Greek Orthodox community bought the church in 1925 and it was gutted by a fire in January 1986. After the fire the Greek community raised money to rebuild it but the funds were diverted to other projects. It was demolished in 1997. Thank-you [https://www.flickr.com/photos/mtlweblog]
