I was invited as a member of the (social) media to come along on a ride in one their Hot Air balloons! After 2 failed attempts to go up earlier in the week, I finally got my flight on an immaculate Sunday Morning! Thanks to the organizers for the opportunity and to my pilot Glenn who was a joy to fly with!
My mukluks, warming up by the fire. They're not quite as warm as Tanya's because they're shorter and don't have the rabbit fur around them, so not as insulated. Still awesome though. Perambulating around in -22-25 and 8-10 inches of snow and my feet were a bit cold when standing still, but not frozen. I coud still always feel my toes.
A short family hike in David Thompson Country, this hike takes you up the creek with some wet feet and fun in the water along the way.
A morning float down the Red Deer River from historic Fort Normandeau, through downtown and off at McKenzie Trails Recreation Area.

Siffleur Falls. This is the first set of falls on the Siffleur River and a popular destination along the David Thompson highway.

Crescent Falls was totally frozen when I visited and I had not seen anything like it! My girlfriend and I walked around the area a bit and I had just had to have my photo taken with the the stunning view!
