-25°f morning. Bull Elk. Banff. Alberta. The beauty of this world inspires me beyond words. When capturing this moment, my heart was racing and I tried my best to be as discreet and move slowly. The Bull had slept in the meadow but stood when he saw me. There was such a quiet stillness with the quiet freezing morning air that I can still vividly remember. via 500px ift.tt/2plg6rz
The details in this little bird’s feathers had me completely mesmerized. Nature’s textures are unmatched — soft, subtle, and full of quiet strength. Capturing moments like this reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

This lovely chipmunk checked my glasses, camera and bag. Had a dinner, but after he made some modeling master-class for Hanna. We will meet this fellow a little bit later during the Hanna's Moraine Lake photo shoot backstage:)
