I cannot quite describe how SHOCKED we were when, while walking through the woods, we came upon this thing...in the middle of that proverbial nowhere. It was monstrous in size, looming taller than the trees. We were thrilled, literally thrilled, to find something so large, so hidden, and so close to home. What an unexpected discovery. Who would expect to come upon such a thing?
But...what was it?! The next several pictures capture this at various angles. Any ideas? (View in light box: click L.)
