This would be a top attraction at a poor man's museum.

Note the logo of the Viking explorer!

Went back to my roots tonight. Shot this just for fun in a few minutes. Used the LED flash on my iPhone for the light painting.

Kristen Bobo, admiring a formation in virgin passage of Natal Cave, one of her many finds. Kristen's passion for discovery is all-consuming. This day, two news caves were discovered, and Natal Cave was pushed to it's limits, revealing this nice flowstone formation. Note the sheets of water cascading down the upper-left side of the photo. Nature is awesome.

Construction is underway on a Small Class Vehicle Launch Pad in the Launch Pad 39B area at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The Ground Systems Development and Operations Program (GSDO) is overseeing the project aimed at attracting smaller aerospace companies to develop, test and launch their vehicles from Kennedy. Even Santa Claus has buckled under the dual onslaught of global warming and dropping real estate market. The snow has melted, the deer have wandered off, the elves working in porn, and even Miss Claus ran off with the UPS guy. There's no Christmas Cheer for Santa.

But for reals, this is one of my favourite campy ruins exploration sites. Between the 57th and 58th of US-93 lies Santa's Land Office, built in the 1930's as a tourist attraction and finally giving in in 1995.

Inside is a menagerie of picked over artifacts, pigeon poop, and nouveau detritus. It's worth going to the back house to check out the elf graffiti flicking you off.
